Assemble ingredients

4 cups milk |
heat on high for 6 minutes |
place 2 tablespoons of yogurt in a small bowl |
remove milk from microwave and skim off skin with tip of thermometer |
place thermometer in milk |
add 1 tablespoon of honey |
and 1 teaspoon of vanilla |
cool to about 110 degrees F |
add warm milk to yogurt |
about 4 tablespoons stirring after each addition |
pour contents of bowl into warmed milk in measuring cup |
pour all into a glass bowl in yogurt maker |
cover and allow to "brew" for about 8 hours |
